Kawashima & Co., Solicitors was established by our principal Ms. Mutsumi Kawashima, who is a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2014.
We mainly provide our legal services in respect of the following matters:-
◆ Assisting our corporate clients in the establishment and expansion of their business among these countries
◆ Advising our individual clients in their investment, estate planning and probate cases in these countries; and
◆ Providing clients with professional (but practical) legal advice to protect the client’s maximum interest in the most effective way.
By assisting our we build lasting relationships with our clients, and we are committed to supporting them at all times, as they adjust to changes in the competitive markets
Our principal
After graduating from of Arts, The Chuo University in Japan, Ms. Kawashima acquired LL.B from Faculty of Law at The University of London in 2003 and she was admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister of the High Court of Auckland, New Zealand in 2004, and was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Victoria, Australia in 2006. After working as a registered foreign lawyer to provide legal advice to various Japanese corporate and clients in a major international law firm, she was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2012 and established Kawashima & Co., Solicitors in June 2014.
Ms. Kawashima has extensive experience in advising Japanese corporate clients in their direct and/or indirect investment in Hong Kong and PRC and some Hong Kong and/or PRC clients who invest in Japan.
